A good tip to follow, if you're looking for delicious, fresh produce for the barbie, the butcher and fishmonger in Newport are both amazing!

And if you're a lover of a good walk after food, you're in luck as the beach is right on the Wales Coast Path.

About: Three Cliffs is Gower’s prettiest beach, however it’s a hefty walk if you're carrying BBQ stuff. The neighbouring Oxwich is lovely and has a car park, which makes life much easier when unloading beach and BBQ bits. For the best experience, you can stock up on meat and fish at Swansea’s covered market, the largest in Wales, and enjoy some of the delicious local delicacy on your barbies!
