Barry Island 10K Junior is part of R4W Next Gen, a re-imagined series of family events designed to inspire a future generation of healthy, active adults. The event offers a no-pressure, family-focused Fun Run, a Toddler Dash for children taking their first steps into physical activity, and a Future Challengers race for young athletes and junior club runners seeking an accessible and competitive race. Races are hosted on the promenade alongside an event village with live music, entertainment, stands and street food, with the beach nearby for a post-run dip. Event date: 17 May 2026.
