A Gold award-winning night trail running event at Brean Down in Somerset, offering 5K and 10K races with mandatory head or chest torches.

Storm the Fort is a Gold award-winning event in the ‘Dark Skies Series’ night trail running series, staged at Brean Down near Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset.

The traffic-free route uses good trails and tracks and even passes through the old fort buildings, with a mix of steady sections and a few short, steep climbs. On clear nights, runners can enjoy wide views across the Bristol Channel.
