Selworthy Stargazer

A Gold Award night trail running event on Exmoor’s moorland near Minehead, offering 5K and 10K routes under dark skies with mandatory head or chest torches.

Selworthy Stargazer is a Gold Award night trail running event on Exmoor’s high moorland, staged as part of the Exmoor National Park Dark Skies Festival. The route crosses North Hill and Bossington Hill and includes the summit of Selworthy Beacon.

Runners can choose an exciting 5km or 10km option over undulating trails and tracks with some technical sections. Routes are well-marked with reflective markers and supported by marshals. Optional wooden medals and cupless refreshments support the event’s sustainability focus.
