Barry Island 10K

Barry Island 10K is a seaside road race on closed roads, known for its feel-good atmosphere, scenic coastal route and lively event village at Whitmore Bay.

Sun, sea and sand provide the backdrop to the Barry Island 10K, a race renowned for its feel-good atmosphere and varied route. As part of the R4W 10K Series, the event takes place on fully closed roads and showcases scenic seaside spots and recognisable landmarks. The day also features children’s activities including a Family Fun Run and Toddler Dash along the promenade. Races start and finish at Whitmore Bay, which hosts an Event Village with live music, entertainment, stands and street food. Event date: 17 May 2026.
